আমি যখন মামুন স্মৃতি পাবলিক স্কুলে ভর্তি হই তখন আমি খুব ছোট। স্কুলের সাফল্য আর সুনাম তখন বর্ধিঞ্চু গাছের মত তার শাখা আর পত্রপল্লবে চারদিক বিমোহিত করতে ব্যস্ত । ২৫ বছর আগে যে বীজ উপ্ত হয়েছিল, আজ তা মহীরুহে পরিণত হয়েছে।

 সাফল্যের মুকুট যুক্ত একের পর এক নতুন পালক। আমার জীবনের শৈশব আর কৈশোরের গুরুত্বপূর্ণ সময়টা কেটেছে এই স্কুলের আঙিনায়। তখন তেমন একটা না বুঝলেও বড় হওয়ার সাথে সাথে মামুন স্মৃতি পাবলিক স্কুলের সাথে আমার জীবনের সম্পর্কটা গভীর ভাবে উপলব্ধি করতে সক্ষম হয়েছি।

এখানেই আমি পেয়েছি শিক্ষকের আদর স্নেহ আর বন্ধুত্ব আর ভ্রাতৃত্বের এক অপূর্ব বন্ধন, এখানেই ঘটেছে আমার জীবনাভূমির বিস্তার ; যা আমার এ ক্ষুদ্র জীবনকে করেছে অর্থ বহ। এই স্কুল আমার কাছে পরিবার সম, জীবন দর্শনে পরিবার থেকেও বেশি কিছু আর স্মৃতির ক্যানভাসে এই স্কুলের প্রতিটি দিন এক একটি অম্লান চিত্রকর্ম। মামুন স্মৃতি পাবলিক স্কুলের ২৫ বছর পূর্তি এই মাহেন্দ্রক্ষণে আমি কৃতজ্ঞতা জানাই তাদের প্রতি যাদের অর্থ, সময়, পরিশ্রম আর ভালোবাসায় আজকে মামুন স্মৃতি পাবলিক স্কুল এই অবস্হানে। আমি দোয়া করি যাতে আমাদের স্কুল আরো উন্নতি লাভ করতে পারে।
